Points for scout camp

Each scout has an opportunity to earn points that they can redeem for money to pay for summer camps
sanctioned by Boy Scouts of America or the pack committee. Set amounts of funds are budgeted and reserved
for summer camp each year. Points are accumulated based on the following criteria:

One point for attendance at den meeting, pack meetings, and other scout events.

One point for parents attendance den meeting, pack meeting, and other scout events

only one point even if both parents attend.

One point for ever dollar earned in a pack fundraiser. Total fundraiser points will be allocated at the end of the
year based on percentage of scout’s attendance for all den meeting, pack meeting, and other scout events. For
example a scout has 80%attendance and earned 500 points for fundraiser he will be awarded 400 points in
addition to scout attendance points and parents’ attendance points.

Points are accommodated beginning with the first pack summer activity through the last den/pack meeting prior
to May committee meeting. A final tally of points are submitted at the May meeting and the scouts will be notified
at the may pack meeting how much money they have earned for summer camp fee. The only exception second
