Leader’s Meeting Minutes
10/14/08

        Theresa made motion to put $200 in scout shop to
cover pinewood derby cars and awards. Motion was
seconded by Gary. Check for $200.00 to scout shop given to  
Tina.

        Tina and Theresa attended roundtable.

        All popcorn forms are due at the Campout. -3 boys
have filled up their forms and earned the Razorback sports
day prizes. There are still some openings left. Arvest has
donated $50 savings bond to the top seller. Boys that sell
over $1000 will be given fishing poles. (possible donation?)

        September Pack Meeting- should have used
cardboard instead of newspaper for relay game. Signature
game maybe should have had more to it at the end. Sign-ups
for new members confusing-need to move to outside of
activities instead of the center. Possibly get escort from sign
up table to boys den table and introduce to leader.

        Holiday Pack Meeting 12/12/08 Opening-holiday lights:
Bears, Colors- Rattlesnakes, Song- Wolves, Game-Santa’s
Sack. Give out wrapped pinewood derbys to boys. Everybody
to bring unwrapped toy to donate to children’s shelter if they
want to.

        Fall Yard Sale tentatively scheduled for 12/06/08 (Gary
to check with Mr. Young)

        Beden Powell University is on 11/15/08. Schedule due
to Gloria by 10/24/08- pack can help with payment.

        Gary to talk to Mr Young about Charter due 01/01/09-
needs signed, Go over schedule and have him sign, Invite
him to pack meeting at campout.

        October Campout
Port-a-poties, Generator, Lights, bonfire wood taken care of
by Gary
Gary and Robert will be doing bonfire.
Each den responsible for their own wood.
No spook trail this year-just hayride down road (with car
following)
Must sign in/out with Theresa
No flames in tents
Alan heading off Advancement ceremony
Reading Relay game at pack meeting
Vespers 9:00 am Sunday.
Theresa to send Schedule of events and plan Scavenger
hunt
Awards will be given for grossfest, Campsite design, and
scavenger hunt.
Check with dens to see if any nurses or doctors.
